AMBITION: Every great achievement started as a dream, which is also where most of them stayed. TEAMWORK: Alone we are strong, but together we can schedule a meeting about it. POTENTIAL: Your potential is limitless, which is exactly what makes it so easy to save for later. SYNERGY: Two people working in perfect harmony can do the work of one person in twice the time. PERSEVERANCE: If at first you don't succeed, try again, and keep trying until it becomes a recognizable pattern. LEADERSHIP: A great leader knows the way, shows the way, and is somehow on vacation when it goes wrong. OPPORTUNITY: Opportunity only knocks once, usually while you have your headphones in. DETERMINATION: A determined person can move mountains, though the permits alone take eleven years. INNOVATION: Every breakthrough starts with someone asking why not, and ends with legal explaining why. COURAGE: Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the presence of a deadline. SUCCESS: Success is a journey, not a destination, which is why nobody can tell you how much farther it is. VISION: A visionary sees what others cannot, which is why nobody else is entirely sure it's there. COMMITMENT: Commitment means showing up every single day, long after the reason you came has quietly left. INTEGRITY: Always do the right thing, even when no one is watching, because statistically no one is. GOALS: A goal without a plan is just a wish. A goal with a plan is a wish with a spreadsheet. MOTIVATION: Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything, at least until about two in the afternoon. PATIENCE: Good things come to those who wait, in limited quantities, while supplies last. ADVERSITY: The harder the climb, the better the view, or so say the people who took the helicopter. CHANGE: Embrace change, because it is coming either way and it would be nice if you put your arms out. CONFIDENCE: Walk into every room like you belong there, then quietly check whether it was the right room. PRODUCTIVITY: Every morning is a fresh start, a blank page, and another chance to recopy yesterday's to-do list. RESILIENCE: Every setback is a setup for a comeback, which in turn is a setup for the next setback. EFFORT: Hard work always pays off eventually, usually for someone a little higher on the org chart. WISDOM: The wise learn from their mistakes. The truly wise let somebody else go first.
